All fabric is made in America as well.

Exclusive Retractable Awnings was a Small Business started in April of 2020. & was created to service customers with all varieties of Awnings.

The Startup

Thatcher Retractable was a large company that serviced most of Illinois, Chicago & its Suburbs for 20 Years. Unfortunately in February of 2020 Thatcher closed for Business which left its full Staff without Jobs and its 20 years of Customers in void without anyone to service them.

A Handful of Workers that Lost their Jobs From Thatcher when it closed for business decided to start up their own awning company naming it Exclusive Retractable Awnings. We then were able to reach out to the Owner of the the Closed Thatcher Retractable & paid him to acquire assets to help service all Customers in need.

We acquired Thatcher’s Retractable phone number that has been in service for 10 plus years so that all the customers in need of help or service could reach someone since Thatcher Retractable was closed and no longer could service their loyal customers.

After making it through a Startup year in the Middle of the Coronavirus Pandemic, our Company was able to survive. We are committed to growing our Company one Day at a time to be able to Exclusively Service You.

As our Staff may not be as big as Larger Companies we still Value Every Customer an believe in reaching back out to customers in the order that they call or email.
